Kiwanis Club of Columbia (MD)

Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization made up of men and women with the desire to improve their communties. The main focus of this organization is to help children. Through the Objects of Kiwanis and the motto of "We Build", our organization works to further this aim. Kiwanis members raise money and participate in projects that benefit those needing assistance. • One important area of child safety is the car seat. It is far more complex a process to install one properly than any parent might think. Without proper installation, a simple accident may become life-threatening for your child. Therefore, the Safe Kids Coalition offers child safety seat checks. Our Kiwanis club has become involved with inspecting child safety seats along with the Coalition. There are numerous opportunities for you to get your car seat checked and make sure your kids are safe!!!
  
  
• From the drive-thru flu shots with the Howard County Health Department to the Triathlon benefitting the ARC of Howard County, our club is involved in the community. Our schedule of events for the next few months is busy and we are always looking for civic-minded individuals to help us out on any of our projects.
